APACHES DOWN SOUTH

"Criminal: a person with predatory instincts who has not sufficient capital
to form a corporation."
Howard Scott
HUNT FOR HISTORY
Richard Dean Young lived overseas for 42 years; India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Costa Rica, Argentina...
and the last 22 years in Uruguay. He taught Church History at Seminaries in Argentina and Uruguay.
For over ten years he investigated the story of
the most famous bank heist in Uruguay's history.

APACHES IN URUGUAY
A gang of two North Americans and one Mexican botched their attempt to hold up the Bank of London in Salto, Uruguay in 1917. They killed the bank manager, got away in a Ford Model T, and were captured after two shootouts. The newspapers called them "Apaches." The story is told in Richard Young's new book:
"The Last of the Apaches."
